I am indebted to Kevin Stevens, writer, editor, and decades-long friend, for suggesting that I write a memoir. Kevin said that if I wrote the manuscript, he would do the editing. That offer from him tipped me over. It started out as a hardcover book, but by the time I recovered from some health problems I lost two years.
